The company behind the Unity3D game development platform, Unity Technologies has raised 5.5 millions from Sequoia Capital. Unity3D is a powerful tool that allows developers to build 3D worlds for games running on a variety of platforms, including the iPhone, PC, Mac, and Nintendo’s Wii.

Jive, the software maker for enterprise, which helps businesses collaborate on a variety of tasks, including holding discussions, sharing documents, blogging, running polls, and social networking features and more, has raised $12 Million in series B funding ,in August 2007 Jive raised $15 Million from series A funding from Sequoia Capital.
